How to make tricolor maida sweet
Maida: one cup
Ghee: 250 gms
Sugar syrup one string consistency
Orange food color
Green food color
Into a wide pan add 250 gms of ghee
Add a cup of maida and mix it well.
Mix the maida well in the ghee or until the maida soften in the ghee.
Add ghee at regular interval to soften the maida.
Once done remove it from flame and allow it to cool.
Into another pan prepare sugar syrup for one string consistency.
Add the prepared maida into the sugar syrup mix it well in the sugar syrup.
Add cardamom and mix well.
Once its not sticking up into the pan then that’s the right consistency to remove from flame.
Separate the maida sweet into three different bowls.
Add orange in one maida sweets and mix well and leave another bowl as it without any color.
Use green color in the third bowl maida sweets.
Mix it well.
Into a mould grease it well with ghee to its sides.
Put the three layers on top of it in format of Indian flag like orange layer first, white color and then green color.
Allow it to cool down.
Transfer into a plate and cut it into pieces.
