How to prepare Thiratipal
Prep time – 5 mins
Cook time – 1 hour
Yields – a cup as shown above
Milk – 4 cups
Sugar -1/4 cup
Ghee -2 tbsp
Cardamom powder -1/4 tbsp
Now take a heavy bottomed vessel, add melted ghee and four cups milk.
Boil up the milk into medium low flame. Keep stirring up the milk from time to time. As the milk starts thickens well, reduce the flame to low and stir continuously. Stir the milk sticking to the sides of pan with ladle as you can stir. Milk must become condensed; This must take a long time. If you don’t stir, there are chances of milk getting burnt and your whole effort might be waste
When it becomes a solid mass, add sugar and cardamom powder. Add sugar which will become little watery. Keep stirring well for some more time until it becomes thick. Switch off flame. Once cools down it with thicken further,
