How to make Spicy prawn gravy

Ingredients:
Cleaned prawns: 500 gms
Onion: 2 sliced
Oil: 2 to 3 tbsp
Mustard: 1/2 tbsp
Curry leaves: 2 sprig
Coriander leaves: 2 sprig
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
Pepper powder: 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
Salt: As needed
For Marinating prawns:
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbsp
Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
Pepper powder: 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
Salt: As needed
Oil: Little to drizzle
For Grinding masala:
Tomatoes: 2 chopped
Ginger: half
Garlic: 4 to 5 pods
Green chillies: 2 nos
Method:
For marinating prawns. Add all the ingredients listed in “For Marinating prawns”
Into a kadai, Add oil and then crackle mustards.
Add onions and saute it well .
Now grind the masalas mentioned in “For Grinding masala”
Now add grinded masalas into the kadai.
Saute it well.
Add all the masalas such as chilli powder , coriander powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and saute it until its raw smell goes off.
Add prawns into the masala and saute it well.
Add little water and allow them to cook.
Close cook it until it’s well cooked. I cooked it for 2o to 25 mins.
Yummy Spicy prawn gravy is ready. Garnish it with coriander and curry leaves.
Serve it with rice or chapati or Naan.
