How to prepare Spicy boneless Chicken Bites

Hey guys, here im going to teach you how to prepare Spicy boneless Chicken Bites. This spicy masala flavored chicken bites are best for any Indian party and at any festival occasions.

  1. Skinless & Boneless Chicken Thighs – 1 kg/2.2 lbs
  2. Diced Onions – 1 large
  3. Finely Minced Ginger – 1 tbsp
  4. Finely Minced Garlic – 2 cloves
  5. Curry Leaves – A large sprig
  6. Hot & Sweet Chilly Sauce – 2 tbsp (Alternatively, you can use 2 tbsp Red Chilly Sauce and 2 tsp sugar)
  7. Red Chilly Powder – 1/2 tbsp (Alter according to your Spice Tolerance)
  8. Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  9. Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  10. Chilly Garlic Sauce – 1 tbsp (Optional)
  11. Salt – to taste
  12. Water – as needed
  13. Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp

For the Marinade

  1. Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
  2. Chicken Masala Powder – 1 tbsp (I used Eastern Chicken Masala Powder)
  3. Red Chilly Powder – 1 tbsp (Alter according to your Spice Tolerance)
  4. Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tbsp
  5. Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
  7. Salt – to taste

Preparation Method

  • Cut the small bite-sized chicken pieces. Wash the chicken and soak it in water for about 5 minutes and add 1tbsp lemon juice to it. Drain and keep it aside.
  • Prepare the marinate with the help of the above ingredients and apply it on chicken pieces. Refrigerate for about 2 hours or leave it for overnight.
  • Into a deep pan, heat oil for frying. Gently put chicken pieces to the pan and fry it for about 5-6 mins. Drain into the paper towel. You can do this in several times.
  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in another nonstick pan and add onions. Saute until it becomes translucent.
  • Reduce the flame and add red chilli powder, chilly garlic sauce and black pepper powder then add hot and sweet chilli sauce. Add few tbsp of water to make gravy type if needed.
  • Add fried chicken pieces and mix it gently. Sprinkle 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder.
  • Your Spicy Boneless Chicken bites are ready. Serve it hot.
