How to prepare Sevai and Veg Kurma
Normally for married women it’s a great confusion about breakfast recipes. Eating the same dosa, idly, chapathi, poori is seriously bored. Get a change in your breakfast recipes with some add on combos. Here im going to let you know how to prepare Sevai and Veg kurma. Both are the best combination which will enhance your day. Have it with a glass of orange juice with some bananas which will make your day special and filled up. Lets see the recipe below.
Ingredients to prepare Sevai:
Sevai packet: 1 no
Salt: 1 tbsp
Water: As required for boiling
Into a saucepan or kadai add required water.
Add a packet of Sevai to it.
Now add salt to it.
Cook it until you get a boiling consistency or the sevai is cooked well.
Ingredients to prepare Vegetable Kurma:
Oil: As required
Onion: 1 chopped
Tomatoes: 1 chopped
Salt: As required
Star anise: 1
Fennel seeds: half
Bay leaf: 1
Beans: 3 to 4
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Coriander powder: 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves: handful
Coconut chunks: little
Green Chillies: 1
Into a heated kadai add oil
Add all the masala spices such as fennel seeds, star anise, bay leaf, cinnamon.
Add chopped onions to it.
Saute it well until color changes.
Add chopped tomatoes to it and saute it well.
Add salt and saute it once again.
Add carrot and beans and saute it again.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder and saute it well
Add water to it and add salt to it.
To grind add 6 to 8 shallots, one green chilli, 3 garlic, one half piece ginger, coconut chunks and grind it well into a paste.
Add coconut paste into the boiling gravy.
Mix it well and add salt
Close the kadai and cook for about 10 to 20 mins.
Now temper it with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
Add it to the kurma. Its done
Have it with rice sevai, chapathi, dosa, idli, paratha and more.
