How to prepare Pudina Chicken Curry

Preparation Time : 10 mins

Cooking Time : 35 to 40 mins

Serves: 4


Butter – 2 tbsp

Shahi Jeera – 1 tbsp

Chicken – 500 grams

Cream – 1 cup ( I used amul cream)

Water as needed

Lemon Juice to taste

For Masala:

Oil – 1 tbsp

Cinnamon Stick / Pattai – 3 cm piece

Fennel Seeds / Sombu / Saunf – 2 tbsp

Ginger – 4 cm piece

Garlic – 4 cloves

Onion – 1 large chopped

Green Chillies – 4 to 5 chopped

Mint Leaves – 2 cups


Into a pan add little oil, add fennel seeds, cinnamon. Sizzle them.

Add ginger, garlic and saute it for one min.

Add onions, chillies and saute until it becomes golden color.

Add mint leaves and cook until it is wilted. Cool it down.

Take blender and puree it until its smooth.

Into the same pan, heat some butter, add shahi jeera and sizzle it.

Now add in the pureed masala and salt. Cook until butter separates.

Now add into chicken and mix well.

Cover up and simmer this until the chicken is well cooked. Add water as needed.

Now add into cream and lemon juice and mix it well.
