How to prepare Homemade Breadcrumbs
Leftover stale bread – 3 to 4 slices
NOTE : I used wheat bread you can use white bread too.
Trim out edges the bread slices optional you can use the corners too. For instant use: Toast the bread in tawa until crisp and pulse it into mixie. Another way to collect bread slices in a plastic wrapper and keep them into the freezer for about an hour the bread will become dry then you can pulse it.
To toast it in oven- Preheat oven at 180 deg C for 10 mins, place bread slices into the try and bake it 5 to 7 mins until bread slices turn golden brown.
Break toasted bread slices into pieces and pulse them into mixie as fine as possible. Coarse breadcrumbs will be like fine rava. Store in airtight on to the shelf for few weeks or freezer for more shelf life. Homemade breadcrumbs is best easy to make and works best for cutlets. You can now make it and store so that you can have it handy anytime.
