How to make Creamy Mushroom Pasta

Tagliatelle Pasta (or any pasta) 150 grams
Butter – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 medium size
Garlic cloves – 5-6 minced
Mushroom – 200 grams (any mushroom)
Whole wheat flour or All Purpose flour (maida) – 2 tbsp
Milk – 1 cup
Mozzarella cheese – 1/4 cup grated
Dried basil – 1 tbsp
Dried oregano – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder to taste
Salt to taste
Mozzarella Cheese – grated
Clean mushrooms and chop it. Clean the mushrooms well.
Chop onion and garlic well.
Keep all ingredients ready.
In a large pot, add plenty of water to boil with a added little salt.
Add pasta and stir continuously to boil.
Cook for about 7-9 mins until just tender (al dente). Reserve at 4-5 tbsp of water, drain the rest of the water and set the pasta separate.
Heat butter into a saucepan, add onions, garlic and cook until it turns transparent.
Add chopped mushrooms and cook it on medium heat until mushrooms are tender.
Now add whole wheat flour and cook it for about 2 mins or until rawness of flour goes away.
Lower the heat and now you can add milk, little at a time of stirring constantly till the sauce is smooth without lumps.
Now add grated pepper powder, cheese, dried basil, salt and oregano needed.
Now add cooked pasta with needed reserved water and simmer it for about 2 mins.
Serve hot immediately topped with additional cheese if needed.
