How to prepare Coconut ladoo
Prep Time : 10 mins
Cook Time : 20 mins
Yields: 5-6 Laddus
Fresh Coconut grated -1 cup (use mature ones)
Milk – 1 1/4 cup
Sugar -1/4 cup
Cardamom powder -1/4 tsp
Ghee -1 tsp
Grated coconut and keep it ready. You can use packed coconut also.
Heat one tbsp ghee and fry grated coconut slightly.
Add milk and cook it on medium low until all milk is said to be absorbed. Keep stirring well to avoid milk from getting burnt. You can now use condensed milk instead of milk.
When all milk is well absorbed add sugar, Mixture gets little diluted once again you add sugar.
Keep cooking on to low flame for some more time until mixture becomes sticky and able to make balls out of it. Mixture is also to leave the sides of pan.
Once it cools down, grease your hands with a little ghee and make even small sized balls out of it. Delicious Coconut ladoo is ready.
