How to make Chocolate cake
- 2 and half cups flour (maida)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 and half tbsp baking powder
- 1 and half cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter-softened
- 1 cup curd-use fresh curd
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tbsp mix fruit jam
Sift flour, cocoa and baking powder together. Keep separate.
Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Add curd, vanilla essence and jam to it and combine well.
Fold in flour with a silicon saptula. Add enough water milk to get a soft batter.
Transfer the mixture to the big square silicon mould. Level it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree C/ 350 degree F for 30 minutes. Remove from oven after 5 minutes.
