How to prepare Chettinad Squid masala

Chopped onion: 2
Diced capsicum: 1
Garlic: 3 to 4 pods
Oil: 2 to 3 tbsp
Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
Pepper powder: 1/2 tbsp
Salt: As needed
Curry leaves and coriander leaves: Little
Clean squid with turmeric powder and salt well.
Add Kadai into oil, mustard seeds and crackle it.
Add onion and garlic. Saute it well.
Now add capiscum to it and saute it well.
Now add tomato puree and saute it again.
Now add all spices and saute it well until its raw smell goes away.
Now add cleaned squid and saute it in the masalas.
Add little water into the masals to cook it well.
Close the Kadai and cook it until squid is cooked well.
I cooked it for 30 to 35 mins until our gravy thickens well.
Yummy Chettinad Squid masala is ready. Sprinkle little curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Serve it hot with steamed rice.
