How to make Cabbage poriyal
Cabbage poriyal is not a very big deal to prepare. Its easy and goes yummy with sambar rice and curd rice. There are lots of health benefits in Cabbage.
Cabbage contains small amounts of other micronutrients, including vitamin A, iron and riboflavin. This helps to improve your digestion and keeps your heart healthy.
This lowers your cholesterol and decrease the blood pressure level.
Grated Cabbage: a cup
Oil: 2 to 3 tbsp
Mustard: 1 tbsp
Chopped onions: 1 no
Salt: as per your taste
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
Green chilli: 2 to 3 nos
Curry leaves: Few
Into a pan add little oil, mustard seeds and crackle it.
Now add chopped onions and saute it well
Add grated cabbage and saute it well
Add salt, turmeric and green chillies and saute it until it until your raw smell goes away.
Close the lid and cook it until the cabbage cooked well.
Use the cabbage as side dish with sambar rice or curd rice.
