How to Make Spongy Eggless Vanilla Cake in Idli Cooker | Eggless Vanilla cake
Maida or All purpose flour: 1 cup
Powdered sugar: 1 cup
Melted butter: 100 gm
baking soda: 1/2 tbsp
baking powder: 1/2 tbsp
Milk: as required
Vanilla essence: 1 to 2 tbsp
Preheat your idli cooker.
At the bottom of the base idli cooker add salt or sand then place a wide vessel or a stand type inorder to place your cake mould
Close the idli cooker and preheat it for about 10 to 15 mins.
Cake batter preparation:
Take a wide bowl
Add a cup of maida, powdered sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
Mix it well.
Now add little melted butter little by little and mix it well.
Note that the dough to be mixed well.
Now add required milk and mix it once again well.
To steam your cake:
Into your cake mould grease it with butter well.
Place butter paper on your cake mould
Now pour the prepared cake batter into the cake mould
Place the cake mould into the idli cooker.
Steam it for about 45 mins.
Your cake is ready.
Cool it completely and cut the cake and serve.
