How to make Raw mango pachadi

Preparation Time : 10 mins

Cooking Time : 25 Mins

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Raw mango  1 medium sized
Jaggery  3/4 cup
Salt a pinch
Oil  1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
Red chili  1
*Add more jaggery if the mango is too sour.

 

Method:

Peel off mango skin and cut them into thin slices.

Into a pressure cooker put this mango slices and pressure cook for 2 whistles. Dont add water to mangoes while cooking.

Mangoes must be soft and not mushy. Keep separate.

Now melt jaggery into a pan and add 1/2 cup water to it.

Allow the jaggery to melt.

Filter it and allow them to boil for 5 mins.

Now transfer it to the pan again.

Boil for a minute.

Add cooked mango to it.

Mash it slightly here and there.

Boil for a minute.

Temper mustard seeds and red chilli and now add pachadi.

You can now add some dried neem flowers too when tempering.

 

Mix well.

Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy it .
