How to prepare Dal paratha

Normally we prepare chapathis with wheat flour even more wheat parathas with it but to try different i used toor dal stuffing in paratha. There are many stuffed parathas coming soon in Cookingmanna blog. Stuffed parathas are not quick to prepare but you can prepare something tasty and different to your family. Avoid that boring chapathi everyday or the same wheat paratha and try something different with my Dal paratha preparation. Hope you all will love it. Make it different and feel it different. Lets see how to prepare Dal parathas.

For stuffing
Toor dal: one cup soaked overnight
Chilli powder: 1 tbsp
garam masala: 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp
Salt: 1 tbsp
Wheat flour as required
Oil: to cook


Soak the toor dal overnight.

Grind the toor dal well.

Add one tbsp chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder,turmeric powder and salt into the grinded toor dal.

Mix it well and prepare it into a dough shape.

Prepare the wheat flour dough as you prepare for chapathi

Take a small piece of wheat flour dough and flatten it.

Place the toor dal round at the centre of the flatten wheat flour and seal it to its sides.

Flatten again and make sure the toor dal mix must not come out.

Prepare it in a heated pan as u prepare chapathi.

Its done. You can have it with raita or any kurma.
